Driverless lorries will be trialled on UK roads, Chancellor George Osborne is expected to say in his Budget speech next week.

The BBC reported that the Department for Transport said the UK would “lead the way” in testing so called platoons on self-driving heavy goods vehicle, which travel in a group and used less fuel. The Times reported last week that the trials would take place on a quiet stretch of the M6 in Cumbria towards the end of 2016.

What does this mean for Vehicle Insurance prices? An increase or a decrease?
